About BUSY
BUSY is desktop accounting and billing software from India, built around GST compliance. It handles invoicing, accounting vouchers, ledgers and financial statements, inventory across multiple godowns with batch and expiry tracking, and GST tasks such as JSON e-returns, direct GSTR-1 upload, e-invoices and e-way bills. Editions range from a free billing version to Basic for non-GST businesses, Standard with full GST, and Enterprise-level editions for multi-branch operations, with industry setups for retail, pharmacy, FMCG, distribution and manufacturing. A mobile app gives owners reports and lets them create quotations and invoices on the phone, and BUSY on Cloud offers hosted remote access to the desktop software. It is a direct rival to TallyPrime and is sold through a dealer network. Paid editions are bought as licences priced in rupees. The main product runs on Windows.
