About Chatwork

Chatwork is a business chat service from Japan, where it is one of the most widely used workplace messengers, especially among small and mid-sized companies. It combines group chats and one-to-one messages with built-in task management, so a message can become a task assigned to a colleague, plus file sharing, voice and video calls and contacts with people outside your organisation. The free plan covers up to 100 users with unlimited group chats and one-to-one video calls, but only the last 40 days of messages are viewable and storage is shared at 10 GB per organisation. The paid Standard plan, priced per user per month, unlocks full message history, group video calls, more storage and admin features such as bulk user import. Apps cover web, Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, and the interface is available in English and other languages. It suits companies working with Japanese partners or teams that want simple chat with tasks.
