About Concentré

Concentré is a desktop focus timer built around the Pomodoro routine: work in rounds, take short breaks between them and a longer break every few rounds. The number of rounds, the focus and break lengths, and session labels can all be changed, and the next round can start on its own if you want. Its main visual idea is a timer circle that drains and shifts colour as time runs out, and the tray icon does the same, so you can tell where you are without opening the window. It also offers desktop notifications, tick and end sounds (including your own files), built-in and custom themes, always-on-top and a mini mode. The app is written with Tauri, Rust and Elm rather than Electron, so the download stays under 4 MB. It is free and open source under the AGPL, developed by Vincent Jousse, and runs on Linux (Wayland and X11), Windows and macOS. It was called Pomodorolm until version 0.9, and existing installs keep updating under the old package names.

Best for: Desktop users who want a light, customizable Pomodoro timer that lives in the tray.
