About Copilot Money
Copilot Money is a subscription finance app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web that links your accounts and does most of the sorting for you. It connects to more than 16,000 institutions, categorizes transactions automatically, tracks budgets, recurring charges, investments and net worth, and lets you style categories with colors and emoji. It pulls in extra detail where other apps show a single line, such as itemizing Amazon orders and showing the names and notes on Venmo payments, and it supports Apple Card and Apple Savings. A built-in money assistant suggests changes, such as moving budget from one category to another, and asks before acting; you can pick its tone, from encouraging to blunt. Copilot sells one plan with no tiers or add-ons, currently $109 a year as a limited-time price instead of $119. Sharing with a partner is announced but listed as coming later. It was an Apple Design Awards finalist, and design is a large part of its appeal. It suits Apple users who want automatic tracking with little upkeep. The trade-off is platform reach: there is no Android app, so it doesn't work for a household split between phone platforms, and like other bank-synced trackers it shows where money went more than it makes you plan ahead.
Best for: iPhone and Mac users who want automatic, low-effort spending tracking with a polished design.
