About DeepSource
DeepSource reviews code in pull requests and across whole repositories, flagging bugs, security vulnerabilities, anti-patterns, complexity and missing test coverage. It pairs a large set of deterministic static-analysis rules with an AI review agent, and offers Autofix patches for many findings. Beyond code review it covers SAST, secrets detection, infrastructure-as-code checks for Terraform and CloudFormation, open-source dependency scanning with license compliance, code formatting and coverage tracking, with reports mapped to OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25. Pull-request gates can block merges that fall below a quality bar, and there is an API, webhooks and an MCP server for feeding results to coding agents. Public open-source repositories get a free plan; private repositories need the per-user Team plan, which starts with a 14-day trial, while AI review is billed by usage. Enterprise adds SSO and self-hosted or air-gapped deployment. The company announced it has joined Harness. It runs as a web service connected to your Git host.
Best for: Teams that want automated PR review covering quality, security and coverage in one tool.
