About EasyPost

EasyPost is a shipping API that lets online stores, marketplaces, 3PLs and software platforms buy postage, compare rates and track parcels across more than 100 carriers through a single integration. Instead of building separate connections to USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL and regional couriers, developers call one set of endpoints for rate shopping, label creation, returns, address verification and tracking, with official client libraries for the common languages. Shippers who don't code can use its web app and Shopify connection to import orders and print labels. Pricing is usage-based: you can start free for a few thousand labels a month using EasyPost's own carrier accounts, then pay a per-label fee, or pay a monthly fee to bring your own negotiated carrier accounts. Tracking and shipping insurance are billed separately per shipment, and large shippers negotiate custom contracts. It runs entirely in the cloud and is aimed mainly at developers and operations teams rather than at a small seller printing a handful of labels by hand.

Best for: Developers and platforms that want one API for labels, rates and tracking across many carriers.
