About Stamps.com

Stamps.com lets offices and small businesses in the US buy and print postage from a computer instead of visiting the post office. It started with USPS stamps printed on ordinary paper or labels and has grown into a multi-carrier shipping tool: users can compare and buy discounted labels for USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL Express, schedule pickups, verify addresses, print customs forms and track packages. It sells supplies such as NetStamps, scales and thermal printers, and connects to QuickBooks Online on higher plans. Stamps.com is a subscription with a monthly fee per plan, and a 30-day trial; tiers differ by number of users, label limits and support level. It belongs to Auctane, the group that also owns ShipStation. It works best for mail-heavy offices and low-to-medium volume shippers, while high-volume ecommerce sellers often prefer ShipStation or a pay-as-you-go label tool.

Best for: US offices and small sellers who send letters and parcels and want postage without post office trips.
