About Fidelity Trader+
Fidelity Trader+ is the trading platform Fidelity gives its brokerage customers who trade often. It comes in three forms that share layouts and saved orders: a downloadable desktop app for Windows and Mac built for multi-monitor setups, a browser version, and a mobile app. It covers stocks, ETFs, options and crypto, with real-time quotes, Level 2 data, charting with over a hundred technical indicators, drawing tools, an options chain with greeks and a ticket for building multi-leg options strategies. It is the successor to Active Trader Pro, which Fidelity says it will begin retiring in 2027. The platform itself costs nothing extra, and Fidelity charges no commission on online US stock, ETF and option trades, though options still carry per-contract fees. The catch is that it only works with a Fidelity account, so it suits people who already bank or invest there rather than traders shopping for a standalone charting terminal.
Best for: Fidelity customers who trade often and want pro-style charts and options tools without paying extra.
