About Filemail
Filemail is a Norwegian file transfer service for sending big files by link or email. The free tier lets you send up to 5 GB per transfer from the web or the apps without registering, and recipients download without an account. Paid plans remove most limits and add things businesses ask for: custom branding and domains, upload pages and forms for receiving files from clients, longer storage, download tracking, FTP access and managed file transfer features for automating exchanges. There are native apps for Windows, Mac and Linux that accelerate uploads, mobile apps for iOS and Android, and an Outlook add-in that sends end-to-end encrypted files from email. A seven-day free trial covers the paid features. It has been around for well over a decade and suits agencies and companies that regularly receive large files from customers as well as send them. The interface is functional but less polished than WeTransfer.
Best for: Businesses that send and receive large files from clients and want branding and upload pages.
