About Gliffy

Gliffy started as a standalone online diagram editor and is now focused on Atlassian: Gliffy Diagrams for Confluence and Gliffy for Jira let teams draw flowcharts, UML, BPMN, network diagrams, org charts and Mermaid diagrams directly on wiki pages and issues, with Confluence handling permissions and versioning. Its AI feature drafts diagrams from a text description inside Confluence. Pricing follows the Atlassian Marketplace model: free for Confluence sites with up to ten users, then billed per user as the site grows. The old Gliffy Online web app no longer accepts new accounts, so in practice Gliffy only makes sense if your team already documents in Confluence. Compared with draw.io, its main rival on the marketplace, Gliffy is simpler to pick up but has fewer shapes and integrations, and it offers a zero-egress, isolated cloud option aimed at security-sensitive organisations.

Best for: Confluence teams that want simple diagrams embedded directly in their wiki pages.
