About Google Gemini

Gemini is Google's chat assistant and the AI layer across its products. On its own it covers the usual ground, from questions and writing help to image and video generation, deep research reports and coding, and its biggest draw is how it connects to Gmail, Drive, Docs, Calendar, Maps and YouTube. On Android it can replace Google Assistant as the phone's built-in helper. Paid access is sold as Google AI plans through Google One, which bundle higher Gemini limits with cloud storage and extras such as the Flow video tool, so the value depends on whether you also want the storage. The flip side is that the experience is best inside Google's ecosystem, and features and limits vary by plan, country and account type. There is a free tier for personal Google accounts, then Plus, Pro and Ultra plans, plus Workspace editions for businesses. It runs on the web, Android and iOS.
