About TypingMind

TypingMind is a chat front end that connects to many AI providers through your own API keys, so you pay providers per use instead of buying separate ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini subscriptions. It wraps those models in a feature-rich interface with agents, plugins, MCP integrations, prompt libraries, file uploads and a knowledge base for retrieval, and you can switch models mid-conversation. It is sold as a one-time licence in three tiers, with a free tier to try it, and a separate Teams product gives organisations a shared workspace with central model access, user management and analytics. A static self-hosted package is available for companies that want to run it on their own servers. Bring-your-own-key pricing can be cheaper than subscriptions for moderate use but harder to predict for heavy use, and setting up keys takes a few minutes. It runs in the browser and as a desktop app, and is also available through Setapp on macOS.

Best for: People who want one interface for every model and prefer paying per use with their own keys.
