About Kanboard
Kanboard is a small, free and open-source Kanban project management application. It focuses on doing a few things well: boards with columns and swimlanes, work-in-progress limits, task details with subtasks, comments and attachments, simple time tracking, and analytics such as cumulative flow and lead time charts. Automatic actions can move or assign tasks when events happen, and a plugin system adds integrations, themes and extra features. It is written in PHP, runs on modest hardware with SQLite by default or MySQL and PostgreSQL for larger setups, and supports LDAP and OAuth2 sign-in, which makes it popular for homelabs and small IT teams. The interface is intentionally plain, and there is no hosted service, official mobile app or real-time collaboration in the modern sense. It is released under the MIT licence and costs nothing.
Best for: Individuals and small technical teams who want a lightweight self-hosted Kanban board.
