About Taiga
Taiga is an open-source project management tool designed for agile teams. Each project can enable a Scrum module with a backlog, user stories, sprints, task boards and burndown charts, a Kanban module with swimlanes and WIP limits, an issue tracker, a wiki and an epics view, so teams can turn on just the parts they use. The interface is cleaner and friendlier than many older open-source trackers, which makes it easier to bring designers and product people along. Teams can use the hosted version at taiga.io or run it themselves; the recommended self-hosted setup uses Docker, and the backend code is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Importers bring data over from Jira, Trello, Asana and GitHub. Development has slowed compared with newer tools, so it lacks things like advanced automation, and integrations are limited. It runs in the browser.
Best for: Agile teams that want a free, self-hostable Scrum and Kanban tool.
