About PLANKA

PLANKA is a Kanban project tool you run on your own server. Projects contain boards with lists and cards, labels, due dates, stopwatches, checklists, attachments and comments, and changes appear for everyone in real time. The interface is modern and responsive, closer to Trello than older self-hosted boards, and it supports OpenID Connect single sign-on, notifications and Markdown descriptions. A German company develops it: the Community edition is free to self-host, while PLANKA Pro adds features and support for organisations, on your own servers or in a hosted version. Note that it is source-available rather than open source in the strict sense; current releases use a custom PLANKA Community License, so check the terms if you plan to modify or redistribute it. Pro pricing is per user per month in euros. It runs in the browser and is usually deployed with Docker.
