About Leantime

Leantime is an open-source project management system that tries to make planning approachable for people who are not trained project managers. Alongside tasks on Kanban boards, lists, tables, timelines and calendars, it includes milestones, timesheets, idea boards, retrospectives and strategy canvases such as lean canvas and SWOT, so goals and the work behind them sit together. Its makers design explicitly for people with ADHD, autism and dyslexia, which shows in a personal 'my work' dashboard, focus features and plain language. You can self-host the open-source edition for free under the AGPL-3.0 licence, or pay per user per month for the hosted Pro service, which includes AI-assisted task management and a 14-day trial. Mobile apps for iPhone and Android are in beta. The plugin and integration ecosystem is still small, and larger organisations may miss portfolio and resource features.

Best for: Small teams and non-PM users who want a gentle, self-hostable project tool.
