About Leawo Blu-ray Player

Leawo Blu-ray Player is a free disc and file player from Leawo Software for Windows and macOS. It plays Blu-ray discs and folders, DVDs, ISO files and common video formats including 4K, with audio passthrough for Dolby and DTS. It is one of the few free options that attempts commercial Blu-ray playback, which is otherwise mostly the domain of paid apps like PowerDVD. A paid premium version, sold as a yearly subscription or a lifetime licence, adds features such as converting Blu-rays to MKV. The free version's interface pushes Leawo's other paid software, and some newer or region-locked discs may not play. It suits people who want to try Blu-ray playback on a computer before paying for PowerDVD.

Best for: People who want free Blu-ray playback on a Windows PC or Mac.
