About Maxio

Maxio is a billing and financial operations platform for B2B SaaS businesses, formed from the merger of Chargify and SaaSOptics. It handles subscription plans, renewals and changes, usage-based billing with metering, invoicing, payment processing and collections, and then carries that data through to revenue recognition under ASC 606 and IFRS 15 and investor-style SaaS metrics. A CPQ module covers quotes, and connectors link it to NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Salesforce and payment gateways such as Stripe. Newer AI agents help with close, collections and pricing analysis. Pricing is tiered by monthly billings, starting with a Grow plan and moving to quoted Scale plans. Compared with Recurly it puts more weight on finance teams and revenue reporting than on consumer subscription retention, and it is a poor fit for B2C apps or very small businesses because of its starting price.

Best for: B2B SaaS finance teams that want billing and revenue recognition in one system..
