About Mimecast
Mimecast protects company email against phishing, business email compromise, ransomware and impersonation. You can route all incoming mail through its gateway by changing MX records, or connect it by API to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for in-mailbox protection; on-premise and hybrid mail servers are supported too. A distinctive part of the MX setup is continuity: if your own mail server goes down, mail keeps flowing through Mimecast. The wider platform adds email archiving, DMARC analysis, security awareness training and insider risk tools, and it integrates with SIEM and XDR products. Mimecast targets businesses from mid-size to enterprise and sells through quotes and partners, so there is no public price list or free tier. It is a hosted service managed from a web console.
