About Rspamd
Rspamd is a spam and email-threat filter written in C with an asynchronous core, built to scan large volumes of mail quickly. It combines regular-expression rules, DNS blocklists, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and ARC checks, greylisting and rate limiting, Bayesian and neural classifiers, and optional antivirus scanning through ClamAV. Newer modules can ask a GPT model or a local LLM to judge suspicious content. It sits in front of Postfix, Exim, Sendmail and other mail servers and comes with a web interface for stats and tuning. It can read SpamAssassin rules, which makes moving from SpamAssassin easier. The engine is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 licence; paid premium plans add extra detection data, a management console and support with response times. Configuration has many moving parts, so it suits admins comfortable with mail servers.
Best for: Admins of busy mail servers who want a faster, modern replacement for SpamAssassin.
