About OneDev

OneDev is an open-source, self-hosted development platform that bundles Git hosting with a notably capable CI/CD engine. Jobs can be created through a GUI editor instead of hand-written YAML, run on the server, remote agents or a Kubernetes cluster, and even be tested locally before committing. Around that it adds pull requests with code review, issue tracking with customisable workflows and kanban boards, language-aware symbol search and navigation across commits, regular-expression code search, a package registry, and security scanning of dependencies and images. It is developed mainly by a small team and runs as a Java application, usually via Docker. The Community Edition is MIT-licensed and free; an Enterprise Edition adds extra features and is billed per user. It suits teams that want an all-in-one self-hosted platform lighter than GitLab with stronger CI than Gitea, though its community is much smaller than either.

Best for: Teams wanting self-hosted Git plus strong built-in CI/CD without GitLab's weight.
