About Online-Convert

Online-Convert is a web service from QaamGo Media in Germany that converts files between formats without installing software. You pick a target format, such as MP4, MP3, PDF, DOCX or WebP, upload a file or link one from cloud storage, and download the result. Beyond plain conversion it has tools to compress PDFs, images and videos, run OCR on scans, and save web pages as PDF or images. There is a free tier for occasional use with limits on file size, processing time and queueing. Paid use runs on credits, bought either as a monthly or yearly subscription or as one-off pay-as-you-go packs that last a year, and paid users get bigger files, batch jobs, no ads and team sharing. Students and teachers can apply for free access to the paid tools. It is a close rival to CloudConvert and Convertio; the main differences are the credit model and the extra screenshot and compression tools. Everything runs in the browser, and a developer API and Zapier integration are available for automation.

Best for: People who need occasional file conversions in the browser across many formats.
