About Zamzar

Zamzar has been converting files on the web since 2006. You upload files from your computer, a URL or cloud storage such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Box or OneDrive, choose a target format and download the result or get it by email. It supports well over a thousand formats across documents, images, audio, video, ebooks, CAD, archives and 3D files, and adds tools for compressing, splitting, rotating and extracting audio, plus speech and image to text. A desktop app for Windows and Mac lets you convert by dragging files in. Free use is limited to 50 MB files and free outputs are kept for 24 hours; paid monthly plans raise the file size limit, add daily desktop conversions and online storage, and can be cancelled after one month. There is also a separate conversion API for developers. It suits people who want a simple, familiar converter; the free file size cap is smaller than most rivals.

Best for: People who want a simple converter with cloud imports and a desktop app.
