About Postico
Postico is a PostgreSQL client for macOS made by Egger Apps in Austria. It deliberately does less than big database IDEs, aiming instead for a fast, tidy Mac app: browse tables with filters, edit rows inline, design tables and constraints, write queries in an editor with autocomplete and multiple result sets, and, in version 2, edit functions and stored procedures. It works with PostgreSQL and many Postgres-compatible hosted services, and supports SSH tunnels. You can download it and use the evaluation version without a time limit, though some features are disabled until you buy a licence. Licences are a one-time purchase per device, with a discounted team licence for up to 10 devices; Postico 2 was a paid upgrade from version 1. It is macOS only and PostgreSQL only, so it suits Mac developers who use Postgres and want a simple, pleasant tool.
Best for: Mac developers who work with PostgreSQL and want a simple native client.
