About Refrens

Refrens is a web-based accounting and invoicing app from Bengaluru, used mostly by Indian freelancers, agencies and small businesses, though it also works in other countries. It creates invoices, quotations, proforma invoices, purchase orders and delivery challans, collects payments online and sends reminders. Behind that sits a full set of books with bank reconciliation, financial reports and audit trails, plus Indian compliance features such as e-invoices, e-way bills and GSTR-1 and GSTR-2B reports. Newer modules cover inventory across locations, expense and vendor management, and a lead CRM that connects to IndiaMART and Meta ads. You can create 15 documents for free; after that a premium subscription is needed, and Refrens also takes a gateway fee on online payments. It is ISO 27001 certified and runs in the browser, with Android and iOS apps listed on its site.

Best for: Indian freelancers and small firms wanting GST invoicing, books and a simple CRM in one app.
