About Simple Analytics

Simple Analytics is a privacy-first web analytics service based in Amsterdam. It collects no cookies, personal data or visitor IDs, and hosts data in the EU, so sites can usually skip the consent banner and still count visitors that would reject cookies in Google Analytics. The dashboard covers pageviews, visitors, referrers, UTM campaigns, countries, devices, goals and events, with an AI assistant for asking questions about your data, an API and a Google Analytics importer. It also positions itself as a way to see the traffic GA4 misses when visitors decline consent. A free plan covers hobby sites with one user, a limited number of websites and one month of history, with a required badge; paid plans are priced by pageviews with a 14-day trial, and extra users cost more. The trade-offs are less depth than full analytics suites, per-user charges on paid plans, and a free plan that keeps very little history. It runs in the browser.

Best for: EU businesses and hobby sites that want cookie-free analytics without self-hosting.
