About Slab
Slab is a hosted knowledge base for internal team documentation. Content is organised into topics rather than deep page trees, and the editor is deliberately simple, so writing a process doc or onboarding guide feels closer to a modern notes app than a traditional wiki. Its main selling point is unified search, which returns results from Slab and from connected tools such as Google Drive, GitHub and Slack in one place. Pages can be marked as verified so readers know what is current, and higher plans add AI answers, analytics, SSO and SCIM. Slab is intentionally a wiki and nothing else: it doesn't try to be a project tracker or database, which keeps it focused but means you'll still need other tools. Pricing is per user per month, with a free plan for small teams and cheaper startup pricing below the business tier. It runs in the browser, with desktop apps and a Chrome extension.
Best for: Small and mid-sized teams that want a tidy internal wiki people will actually read.
