About TouchBistro

TouchBistro is a point-of-sale system made only for restaurants, from full-service dining rooms and bars to cafes, breweries and quick-service counters. It runs on Apple iPads, used both as countertop stations and as handhelds for tableside ordering, and adds printers, cash drawers and payment terminals around them. The core software covers menu management, floor plans and table management, staff management and reporting, and optional add-ons handle online ordering, reservations, loyalty, gift cards, a kitchen display and marketing. Restaurant owners can buy software only or bundles that include hardware and integrated payments, with hardware financing for larger setups, and 24/7 support is included. TouchBistro started in Toronto and serves restaurants mainly in North America. It says itself that it is not a good fit for food trucks, catering companies or retail shops. Pricing is monthly, with a published starting price and quotes for custom setups.
