About Mswipe
Mswipe is a Mumbai-based payments company that began in 2011 with a mobile card swiper and now sells a range of in-store payment hardware to Indian merchants. Its lineup includes Android smart POS terminals with built-in printers and barcode scanners, and Boombox soundboxes that announce UPI payments aloud and can also take card taps. Alongside the hardware it offers Pay by Link, an online payment gateway, a merchant app and portal for tracking settlements, and APIs and SDKs to connect terminals to billing software. It is an RBI-approved payment aggregator and also supplies payment infrastructure to banks. Merchants get pricing through sales rather than a public rate card. Mswipe suits kirana stores, restaurants, pharmacies, jewellers and electronics shops that want card and UPI acceptance at the counter, including EMI options; it is a payments terminal provider, so shops needing full inventory or restaurant POS software usually pair it with separate billing software.
Best for: Indian retail shops that want card machines and UPI soundboxes at the counter.
