About Pine Labs
Pine Labs started in India in 1998 and is best known for the card terminals found at large retail chains, electronics stores and petrol pumps. Its in-store range includes smart Android POS machines, QR devices and payment speakers, with affordability features such as no-cost EMI and brand offers at the point of sale, which are a big reason electronics and appliance retailers use it. It also runs an online payment gateway with payment links, subscriptions, payouts and a Shopify integration, plus gift card and prepaid programmes through its Qwikcilver business. Pine Labs operates in India, Malaysia, the UAE and other markets. Pricing is quoted per merchant rather than published. It is aimed at mid-size and large retailers, brands and banks rather than the smallest shops, which tend to pick simpler QR-first providers.
Best for: Mid-size and large Indian retailers that want card terminals with EMI and brand offers at checkout.
