About Big-AGI

Big-AGI is an open-source web app for people who use many AI models and want more control than a standard chat interface gives. Its signature feature, Beam, sends one prompt to several models at the same time and then helps you merge the best parts of their answers, which is useful for catching mistakes on important questions. It connects to a long list of providers plus local runners such as Ollama and LM Studio using your own API keys, supports personas, voice and drawing, and keeps data local-first in your browser, with optional cloud sync across devices on the Pro plan. You can use the hosted app, install it as a web app or self-host it. It is independent and not venture funded, with Pro subscriptions paying for development. The open-source version is free; the experience assumes you already know which models you want, so it is less beginner-friendly. It runs in any modern browser.

Best for: Power users who compare several models' answers on the same prompt.
