About Xcode Cloud

Xcode Cloud is Apple's continuous integration and delivery service for apps on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS. Workflows are created directly in Xcode or App Store Connect, and builds run on Apple-managed infrastructure that handles code signing automatically. It can build, run tests across multiple simulators in parallel, analyse and archive apps, and distribute builds to TestFlight testers and App Store review, with results and test reports shown in Xcode as soon as builds finish. It connects to repositories on GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket. Because it is built by Apple, setup for a standard Xcode project is very quick, but it only works for Apple platform apps, offers limited scripting compared with general CI tools and cannot easily be extended to backend or Android work. Apple Developer Program membership includes a monthly allowance of compute hours, with larger monthly subscriptions available. It is used through Xcode and App Store Connect.
