About Ayoa

Ayoa grew out of iMindMap, the app associated with mind-mapping populariser Tony Buzan, and the DropTask task manager. It combines organic, hand-drawn style mind maps with radial and speed maps, whiteboards, and task boards, so a brainstorm can become a list of assigned tasks without switching tools. AI features can suggest branches and generate content on the top plan. It is also used as assistive technology for neurodivergent people, for example in the UK Access to Work and student support schemes. A free version lets you create a small number of mind maps for personal use only; a seven-day trial of the full Ultimate plan is offered, and commercial use requires a paid plan billed per user. Ayoa runs in the browser and has desktop and mobile apps. It suits visual thinkers who want planning and tasks together, but the free tier is restrictive and the app can feel crowded.
