About Cfait
Cfait is a task manager built for people who like to type rather than click. You add tasks with a short inline syntax for due dates, priority, location and hierarchical tags, then organise them with sub-tasks, blocking dependencies, recurring goals, time tracking and date-anchored daily notes. The same Rust core powers a terminal interface, a desktop GUI and a native Android app. It works fully offline, and if you want sync it talks to any standard CalDAV server such as Nextcloud, Radicale or Baïkal, so your tasks stay in an open format on a server you choose rather than in a vendor's cloud. Cfait is free and open source under the GPLv3, developed by a single maintainer on Codeberg with mirrors on GitHub. Builds cover Linux, Windows and Android; macOS is not an official target, and there is no iOS app.
Best for: Keyboard-focused people who sync tasks through their own CalDAV server, e.g. Nextcloud.
