About Planify
Planify is a GTK4 task manager designed for the GNOME desktop on Linux. It offers projects with sections, subtasks, labels, priorities, reminders and recurring tasks, with list and board layouts and views such as Inbox, Today and Scheduled. Its standout feature is sync: it can act as a native Linux front end for an existing Todoist account, or store tasks in Nextcloud or any CalDAV server, which fills a gap for people whose preferred service has no Linux app. It also works offline with local storage and needs no account. Planify is completely free, with no ads or subscriptions, and is licensed under the GPL-3.0; it is distributed mainly through Flathub. It is only for Linux, so you'll need another client on phones and other computers, and as a community project it moves at volunteer pace.
Best for: Linux desktop users who want a native app, optionally synced with Todoist or Nextcloud.
