About Tasks.org

Tasks.org is a free, open-source Android task manager that grew out of the old Astrid app. It works fully offline without an account, and can sync with Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, CalDAV servers such as Nextcloud, EteSync for end-to-end encryption, DAVx⁵ and its own Tasks.org Cloud. Features include filters, tags, lists, unlimited nested subtasks, manual sorting, recurring tasks, location-based reminders and extensive appearance options, with no ads and no data sharing. The core app is free; a name-your-price subscription unlocks themes, self-hosted sync options and the desktop app, and the Tasks.org Cloud plan adds instant sync with desktop, list sharing, email-to-task and a link to Apple Reminders. A desktop version is in alpha, and there is no native iOS app. It is licensed under the GPLv3. It suits Android users who want a private, standards-based task app, or a better front end for tasks already stored in Google or Microsoft.

Best for: Android users who want an open-source task app with CalDAV or Google Tasks sync.
