About Easy Move+Resize
Easy Move+Resize brings a habit from Linux desktops to the Mac: hold a modifier key and drag anywhere inside a window to move it, or use a second mouse button to resize it, without aiming for the title bar or the corner. It sits in the menu bar, where you choose the modifier keys (including Fn), switch to middle-click resizing, turn on a resize-only mode, decide whether a dragged window should come to the front, and exclude apps where the gesture gets in the way. It does nothing else: no snapping, tiling or keyboard layouts, so it pairs well with a separate window manager. The app is free and open source under the MIT licence, distributed as a signed binary on GitHub or via Homebrew, and runs only on macOS, where it needs Accessibility permission to control other apps' windows.
