About Firefox Focus

Firefox Focus is a stripped-down mobile browser from Mozilla, designed for quick private searches and visits rather than everyday browsing. It blocks a wide range of trackers by default, including social and advertising trackers, which also speeds up pages. There are no tabs to manage in the usual sense and no history kept: a single erase button clears your history, passwords and cookies. You can add shortcuts to favourite sites, pick a default search engine and lock the app with biometrics. On iOS it can also act as a content blocker for Safari. Because it is so minimal, there are no extensions, no sync and no bookmarks in the traditional sense, so most people use it alongside another browser. It is free and open source, and available on Android and iOS. It suits anyone who wants a throwaway private browser for quick lookups on their phone.
