About FusionAuth

FusionAuth is a full customer identity and access management server that you download and run anywhere, or rent as managed hosting. It covers login, registration, passwordless, MFA, social and enterprise identity providers, OAuth and OIDC, multi-tenancy, themes for hosted pages, webhooks and a complete REST API with client libraries for many languages. The free Community edition has no user limits and includes the core features, which makes it attractive for teams that want predictable costs and full control of user data. Paid plans unlock premium features such as advanced MFA, advanced threat detection and SSO for the admin UI, and bundle hosting and support; they start at a monthly fee and climb steeply for business and enterprise tiers. FusionAuth is not open source, but self-hosting is a first-class option on Linux, macOS, Windows and Docker. It suits engineering teams comfortable running infrastructure who want an Auth0-like feature set on their own servers.

Best for: Teams that want a full-featured identity server they can self-host for free.
