About Stytch

Stytch offers authentication as a set of APIs and SDKs, covering passwords, passkeys, magic links, one-time codes, OAuth social logins and SAML or OIDC single sign-on. It is known for treating fraud and bot defence as part of auth: device fingerprinting, intelligent rate limiting and invisible CAPTCHA come built in or as add-ons. There are separate products for consumer apps and for B2B SaaS, where organisations, SCIM provisioning and an admin portal let your customers manage their own SSO. Newer features target AI agents and machine-to-machine tokens. Pricing is pay-as-you-go with a free allowance of monthly active users and SSO connections, and paid add-ons such as removing Stytch branding. Stytch has joined Twilio, which may matter if you are weighing long-term vendor direction. It is cloud only, aimed at developers who want flexibility through APIs more than drop-in screens, though prebuilt UI components are available.

Best for: Developers who want flexible auth APIs with fraud and bot protection built in.
