About GoodLinks

GoodLinks is an indie read-later app for Apple devices. It saves links from the share sheet and browser extensions, extracts the article text without ads, and lets you adjust font, spacing and size for comfortable reading. You can highlight passages in different colours, attach notes, browse all highlights in a notebook and export them as Markdown. Tags, starred items and search across title, author and content keep a large list manageable, and a one-tap summary helps decide what to read first. It integrates deeply with the Apple ecosystem: Shortcuts, AppleScript, widgets, Focus filters and native Apple silicon support, plus a CLI and MCP server for automation. Syncing runs through iCloud, so there is no account to create and the developer does not hold your reading history. GoodLinks is a single universal app you buy once on the App Store, with a year of feature upgrades included. There is no Android, Windows or web version.

Best for: Apple users who want a private read-later app without a subscription.
