About HyperDX
HyperDX is an open-source observability tool built on ClickHouse and OpenTelemetry. It brings logs, traces, metrics, errors and browser session replays into one interface, so you can jump from a user's replay to the backend trace and logs for the same request. Search works with plain full-text queries or SQL, and dashboards and alerts are included. ClickHouse acquired HyperDX and now ships it as the user interface of ClickStack, its open-source observability stack, which is also offered in ClickHouse Cloud. Because the data lives in ClickHouse, storage is efficient and you can query it directly with SQL if needed. It is younger than Grafana or SigNoz and the product is changing as it merges into ClickStack. The code is MIT-licensed and self-hostable with Docker, and a hosted service is priced per GB with no per-user or per-host fees.
Best for: Teams already on ClickHouse, or wanting session replay linked to backend traces.
