About SigNoz

SigNoz is an open-source alternative to Datadog and New Relic built from the ground up on OpenTelemetry and ClickHouse. One application covers APM, distributed tracing, log management, infrastructure metrics, dashboards, exceptions and alerts, so you do not need to glue together separate projects for each signal. Because it uses OpenTelemetry for instrumentation, switching away later does not mean re-instrumenting your code. You can self-host the community edition with Docker or Kubernetes, or use SigNoz Cloud, which charges by data ingested with no per-host or per-user fees and a monthly minimum. The project is younger than the big incumbents, so integrations and polish lag in places, and self-hosting ClickHouse at high volume still takes some operational care. Most of the code is MIT-licensed, with enterprise features under a separate licence.

Best for: Teams that want Datadog-style APM on OpenTelemetry without per-host pricing.
