About incident.io

incident.io runs incident response from inside Slack or Microsoft Teams. Declaring an incident creates a channel, pulls in the right people, tracks roles, actions and timelines, and keeps stakeholders updated without anyone leaving chat. Its On-call product handles schedules, escalations and phone or push alerts, competing directly with PagerDuty, and it adds public and internal status pages, a service catalogue, workflow automation and AI that drafts summaries and post-incident write-ups. Teams that have outgrown ad-hoc Slack threads like how much structure it adds without feeling bureaucratic. It is not a monitoring tool itself, so alerts come from Datadog, Grafana, Sentry and similar sources. A free Basic plan covers single-team on-call and core incident features; paid plans are billed per user per month, with on-call as an add-on. It is a hosted service used through chat, the web and mobile apps.

Best for: Teams that coordinate incidents in Slack or Teams and want structure and on-call in one tool.
