About Independent Analytics

Independent Analytics is a WordPress plugin that runs analytics entirely inside your site's dashboard and database, without Google Analytics or third-party services. It tracks visitors, views, sessions, referrers, countries, devices and pages with easy-to-read tables and charts, and adds real-time stats, a campaigns report for UTM links, WooCommerce sales attribution, form tracking and click tracking in its Pro version. Because it is built specifically for WordPress, reports can be filtered by author, category and post type, which suits content sites and agencies. It works without cookies and stores data locally, so it is GDPR-friendly by default. The free version on WordPress.org has no limit on sites or pageviews; Pro is sold as yearly or lifetime licences priced by number of websites. The trade-offs are that it only works on WordPress, analytics processing adds load to your own server, and the deeper features are paid. It runs within WordPress admin.

Best for: WordPress content sites and stores wanting analytics inside the dashboard.
