About Kinde

Kinde is an Australian auth service aimed at startups and SaaS builders that want more than login from one vendor. Besides email, phone and social sign-in, passwordless, MFA and enterprise SSO, it includes B2B organisations with roles and permissions, feature flags for gradual releases, separate environments, a page designer for hosted login screens and, more recently, subscription billing that ties plans to user access. SDKs cover popular front-end and back-end frameworks along with mobile platforms. The free plan includes a healthy number of monthly active users, and paid tiers add a monthly base fee with discounts on extra users as you move up; users on paid subscriptions billed through Kinde are not counted toward MAU limits. Kinde is cloud only. Its bundled approach suits small teams that want fewer services to stitch together, while companies with established billing or feature-flag tools may only use part of it.

Best for: Startups that want auth, feature flags and subscription billing from one provider.
