About Netwrix
Netwrix sells a family of security products built around identity and data rather than one app. The best known are Netwrix Auditor, which records who changed or accessed what across Active Directory, Entra ID, file servers and databases and produces compliance reports for HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR and similar rules; and Netwrix Privilege Secure, a privileged access management tool that removes standing admin accounts and grants just-in-time access that expires after each task, with session recording. Other products cover identity governance, data classification, data loss prevention, Active Directory recovery and password policy, and Netwrix 1Secure is a SaaS version aimed at smaller firms and MSPs. Most of the line is installed on-premises on Windows servers, which suits Microsoft-heavy environments. Pricing is quote-based, though smaller organisations can buy some products through self-service checkout. It suits mid-sized IT teams that want practical AD security and auditing without a large PAM rollout.
Best for: Microsoft-centric IT teams needing AD auditing, compliance reports and just-in-time privileged access.
