About Imprivata
Imprivata is a US identity company best known in healthcare. Its enterprise access management product lets clinicians badge-tap or use a fingerprint to sign in to shared workstations and get single sign-on into clinical apps, so they don't retype passwords many times a shift. Other products cover multi-factor authentication for e-prescribing of controlled substances, shared mobile devices, medical device access, patient privacy monitoring and drug diversion analytics. Its privileged access range, built partly from acquired companies, adds vendor privileged access, password vaulting and remote support. It suits hospitals and health systems first, and also manufacturers, government agencies and other places where many people share devices. Imprivata is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, and sells through quotes and resellers. Endpoint agents run on Windows, with mobile apps for iOS and Android.
Best for: Hospitals and health systems needing fast badge-tap sign-in and healthcare compliance.
