About Delinea
Delinea is a privileged access management (PAM) vendor formed from the merger of Thycotic and Centrify. Its best-known product, Secret Server, is an encrypted vault for admin, root, service and application accounts, with automatic discovery of privileged accounts, password rotation and session monitoring and recording. The wider Delinea platform adds credential management across hybrid and cloud environments, continuous identity discovery, controls for AI agents and machine identities, and Fastpath for access governance and segregation-of-duties checks in business applications such as ERP systems. It is generally seen as easier and faster to roll out than CyberArk, which is why mid-size and large companies often shortlist the two together. Delinea is sold through quotes rather than a public price list, offers a free trial and interactive demos, and runs as a cloud service or as a self-managed Secret Server install.
