About Route Mobile
Route Mobile is a cloud communications provider founded in Mumbai, now majority-owned by Belgian telecom group Proximus. Businesses use it for application-to-person SMS such as OTPs and alerts, two-way messaging, WhatsApp Business, RCS business messaging, Viber, voice and email, and telecom operators buy its SMS firewall and hub products to protect and monetise their networks. Ready-made connectors add Route Mobile SMS or WhatsApp to CRMs including Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, Freshworks and LeadSquared. Its biggest markets are India, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, where banks, ecommerce and telecom firms send large volumes through it. Prices are quoted by sales according to channel, country and volume; there are no public self-serve plans. It suits enterprises and aggregators that need high-volume messaging with strong local operator connections more than small developer teams wanting a quick sign-up.
Best for: Enterprises and banks sending high-volume OTPs and alerts across India, MEA and LATAM.
